About the Artist

My name is Ilana Staniscia. I'm originally from Toronto Ontario, and currently reside in Edmonton Alberta. My art education has taken me to Duino Italy where I attended the United World College of the Adriatic and then to Sarasota Florida where I obtained my BFA in Illustration at Ringling College of Art and Design. I specialize in hand typography and calligraphy, yet am proficient in mort areas of illustration and am confident in all mediums. I have a love for all things colourful and drawing the outdoors is one of my favourite sketchbook subjects.
